The liability politician Javed Hashmi has been sent home forever and for good by the new Pakistan representatives in Multan. Hashmi is the man who threw spanner in the works in Islamabad saving his boss Nawaz Sharif, but Multani public gave the verdict loud and clear by defeating Hashmi with a huge margin. Javed Hashmi secured 38393 votes while Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Javed Siddiqui got 6326 votes. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf supported candidate Malik Amir Dogar bagged 52231 votes. That’s a huge margin given the by-elections history in the Pakistan. Javed Hashmi has been shown the mirror in his own hometown. The truth is that Hashmi has never won any election on his own. When he was in PML-N he used to win from Multan, Lahore, and Rawalpindi on PML-N’s votebank, and then PTI provided him the shoulder.
He betrayed both. Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan stand vindicated that Hashmi is a Daghi. So we can see that whenever free and fair elections are held, PTI wins. That is why there is so much hubbub over the last year’s massively rigged elections in which the mandate of PTI was stolen and given to Nawaz and his relatives which are enjoying government in different capacities. One must praise the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for holding fair by-elections in Multan, but they need to come out now and admit that the elections in May 2013 were rigged and they were forced by the then chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry to change the results. Anyway, the change has started already as depicted by the Multan result and gigantic PTI public gatherings through Punjab and in Karachi. The fire of change has spread and no PML-N snorkel would be able to quash it now. People have risen, and Go Nawaz Go is the order of day.
