Myth # 1: Dirinking tea darkens your complexion:
Tea does not darken your complexion but its not healthy for skin when taken in excess because it contains caffiene. It also contains tannin which is dehydrating and stains teeth. The best thing to do is to have herbal tea rather than regular tea as it is healthier and brings a glow to your skin.
Myth # 2: Using soap is bad for skin:
Previously, soaps were made of harsh ingredients such as vegetable oils and animal fats, which were not quite friendly to the skin, this is the reason why it was advised not to use soap. But, now these ingredients are replaced with mild cleansers and moisturizers available for every skin type. All you have to do is pick the right one that suits your skin.
Myth # 3: Beauty Sleep is not effective:
Absolutely wrong, beauty sleep works wonders! Nothing effects better than a good night sleep. This is because our enery level boost up when we sleep, all organs take advantage from it and so does our skin. A proper 6 hour sleep is good enough. Sleep deprivation may result in dark cirlces and dull skin.
Myth # 4: Tweezing eyebrows does not diminish their growth:
Tweezing eyebrows prevent hair from growing. Eyebrows have hair follicles which can be damaged by frequent tweezing. It is recommended not to tweez eyebrows.
Myth # 5: A pore can be shrinked:
A pore cannot be shrinked. Uptil now no product has been introduced that can shrink a pore. However, drinking lots of water may increase the size of tissue between the pores which gives an effect of a smaller pore.
