Recipe for Kashmiri Dum Aloo
Ingredients
- Boiled potatoes ½ kg
- Crushed red chili ½ tbsp
- Crushed cumin ½ tbsp
- Tamarind paste ½ cup
- Brown sugar 1 tbsp
- Green chilies 4
- Salt to taste
- Chili garlic sauce 1 tbsp
- Oil as required
Cooking Directions
Boil and peel small potatoes and deep fry them till they are golden brown.
Take a separate pan and add in 2 tbsp oil in the pan, add in ½ tbsp red chili flakes, ½ tbsp crushed cumin, 1 tbsp brown sugar, ½ cup tamarind paste and some salt.
Add in potatoes.
Add n green chilies and 1 tbsp chili garlic sauce.
Simmer it for 5 minutes.
Kashmiri Dum aloo are ready to serve.
