Recipe for Jap Cake
Ingredients
- Egg whites 4
- Ground almonds 4 ounce
- Caster sugar 8 ounce
- Flour 1 ounce
- Butter icing:
- Butter 8 ounces
- Icing sugar 4 ounces
- Coco powder 1 tbsp
- Glazed icingIcing sugar 4 ounces
- Butter 4 ounces
- Water 2 to 3 tbsp
- Coco powder 2 tbsp
Cooking Directions
For Cake:
Grease a large cookie sheet, sprinkle flour then mark into 8 inch round circle, mix 4 ounces caster sugar with 4 ounces ground almonds and 1 ounce flour, beat egg white stiff till fluffy.
Gradually adding in 4 ounce of caster sugar, fold in the mixed almonds, sugar and flour.
Put the mixture In butter paper cone and with plain nozzle pipe in a round manner.
Make 3 cakes in the same manner and bake on 250 degree C for 15 to 20 minutes till golden and crisp.
Butter icing:
Beat butter and sugar well add coco, beat well, cool the cake.
Sandwich the cake with 3 layers with butter cream, pour glazed icing on top.
Decorate with butter cream.
Serve It.
