Recipe for Peanut Butter and Jelly Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 tbsp fruit preserves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
Place peanut butter, egg and sugar in a medium bowl. Mix until well blended.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Flatten the mounds with the tines of a fork; making a cross pattern.
Now make a small hole in the top of each cookie using the handle of a wooden spoon.
Fill the holes with fruit preserves.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-11 minutes or until golden.
Let it cool for a couple of minutes on the cookie sheets.
Then transfer onto wire racks to cool completely.
Store in an air-tight container.
