Recipe for KAJU BARFI
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- half of a pinch Saffron
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 cup Cashew nuts
Cooking Directions
Grind cashew nuts. Fry them on low heat in a heavy bottom pan till warm.
Boil sugar and water on medium heat until syrup is thick
Add saffron and switch off heat.
Add cashew powder and mix well
Spread on a greased plate.
Let it cool and cut into cubes Serve
