points are not given on the number of posts or replys you do. It's given on the quality of your post.

most of the time our designed system figures out if the post is quality or not then accordingly assigns points, if not then it goes into pending for administrator to give or reject point by manually checking the post.

yes, you are right new members winning chances are high. But it does not mean old members are left out, its just that we want new members to join and participate more, and should give everyone opportunity to win. Since old members have won.. their chances get 50% in the random selection.

Once we have few more advertisers for the website, then we will change this logic and include everyone new and old members in the same pool.
