SUB se chhupa kar dard jo wo muskura diya
uski hansi ne aaj mujhko rula diya

lahje se uth rahi thi har ek dard ki dastan
chehra bata raha tha us ne sub kuch ganwa diya

aawaz mein thehrao tha aankhon mein nami thi
aur keh raha tha k maine sub kuch bhoola diya

jane keya usko thi logon se thein shikayitein
tanhaiyon k des mein us ne khud ko basa diya

khud bhi wo hum se bichhar k adhoora sa ho geya
mujhko bhi itne logon mein tanha bana diya?
