Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday has decided to make former bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed as temporary head coach of Pakistan team. Since Pakistan has to play England in June and July, PCB therefore wants an interim head coach to look after the matters unless a permanent coach is appointed. PCB is also taking Dean Jones name under consideration for permanent head coach. Mushtaq Ahmed had also served Pakistan and England cricket teams as spin bowling coach. Earlier, former legendary batsman Inzamam-ul-Haq took charge as chief selector. The announcement was made by PCB chief Shaharyar Khan. Shahryar also announced that former spin legend Mushtaq Ahmad will serve as the head coach of the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
