Subject : Senior Pakistani sports reporter takes oath as General Councillor
A sports reporter of Daily Jasarat Syed Wazir Ali Qadri Thursday took oath as a General Councillor of Union Council-8 Ward-2 of Karachi District East. Wazir Qadri, who had covered many international events at home and abroad won the General Councillor Seat on Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf/Jamat-e-IsIami coalition ticket. “This is big responsibility and I am looking forward to serve the peoples of Society Area,(from where he has been elected)” he told APP on his visit to the office.Wazir Qadri younger brother of founder of Pakistan Quiz Society Asim Ali Qadri and the twin brother of KCCA Zone-I Secretary Munir Ali Qadri. He said being attached with sports, he would be focusing on better sports facilities for the youth and improving the grounds of the area. Besides promoting sports he would making efforts in resolving the Civic problems of peoples.
