At 9:42am Thursday morning the great comedian Safeerullah Siddiqui ‘Lehri’ breathed his last at Liaquat National Hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) ward.

Lehri was 83 years old.The bubbly comedian was the very embodiment of vivacity back in the 70s.Lehri’s film career, however, started in 1956 with his first film Anokhi. His last film was Dhanak in 1986.He was also the winner of the Nigar Award for multiple films.
