First National Anthem of Pakistan was written by a Hindu, Mr. Jaganath on the order of Quid-e-Azam. It was first broad cast by Karachi Radio. However later soon after his demise, another National Anthem was formulated in which Mr. Hafeez Jalandhri's was selected.National Anthem Anthems rose to prominence in Europe during the 19th century, but some are much older in origin; the oldest national anthem is "Het Wilhelmus", the Dutch national anthem, written between 1568 and 1572 during the Dutch Revolt.
