I have a collection of 3 Male Hamsters (Dwarf Campbell Albino) to be sold out. They have red eyes and pure white color. Looks very cute. See attached image. This breed is not easily available in Pakistan. I have specially got their parents imported from Thailand. They are totally born and grew in my home. They are doing well and I do not find any sign of disease in them. I have trained them a little to not bite on finger. I can handle them in hand and play with them. My one hamster has injuries of biting each other but this do not effect on its shape and look, this is ignorable. I will send you the details when you will contact me inshaAllah. Pros of Keeping Dwarf Campbell Hamsters (Advantages) * It is very interesting to look them playing around. * If tamed properly you can take them in your hand mostly by handling them properly and play with them. * Playing with them is a fun. * One can keep a little colony in a suitable small cage easily. * They are small in size, so looks cute and so consumes less space and very less food. * One can keep them by spending a little part of pocket money. If you keep two, you will need approximately 30 PKR minimum for food per month (may be less than this, it is not exact, just to have an idea). * They are hard creatures and do not get disease or die easily. * They are very rare in Pakistan, so surprising pets for viewers. * They breed easily and quickly, sometimes twice in a month. * They do not smell as bad as rabbits. * They do not require much attention and time. You may check them after one week, may be on Sunday but ignoring them totally will be an injustice with little creature. * You can keep them in finch sparrow iron wired cage easily available in pet market like twilton market, lahore or you can keep them in glass aquariums too. Minimum space 2 ft. x 2 ft. x 2 ft. isrequired for 2 hamsters. It should be kept away from predators like cats. Cons of Keeping Dwarf Campbell Hamsters (Dis-Advantages) * You cannot let them wander freely out of cage like hens or rabbits, they will get lost and it is hard to find them again. * Some people having less knowledge about them, call them rats or mice. * When one hamster dies, it smells very badly. * If not handled in young age, they often nip your finger when handled. * It is hard to keep them in large number because they start fighting terribly even kill others. * Mostly their activities start in evening or night, they like to sleep and rest in day but sometimes they come out in day too. * Their life span is 2 to 3 years approximately.
