Job Description A well known and reputable Non-Government Organization looking for a dynamic candidate for the position of Manager / Assistant Manager – Environment, Climate Change and Livelihood. It is a Karachi based position that covers outreach activities in Singh & Baluchistan Region. Main Responsibilities He / She will be responsible: * To assist SG in taking forward its programme on environment, climate change and livelihoods * To manage on-going projects/program activities dealing with natural resource management and sustainable development. * To planning, designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative social science research (research on environmental issues with a gender perspective is preferred) * To integrating gender/women’s right into environmental concerns, policies and programmes. * To conducting workshops and organizing seminars & awareness sessions on environmental issues and climate change Preferred Qualification · Master’s degree in Development Studies or Environmental Sciences from a recognized university with at least 3-5 years experience. · Should have strong communication, documentation and report writing skills in English and Urdu both.
