Recipe for Potato Seekh

Ingredients

  • Potatoes ½ kg (boiled)
  • Rice flour ½ cup
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt as required
  • For Garnish:
  • Salad leaves 3 – 4
  • Cucumber 1 – 2

Cooking Directions

In a mixing bowl cut the boiled potatoes in four halves.

Add the rice flour, coriander, cumin powder, yogurt, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cardamom powder and salt.

Mix well. Now thread the potatoes onto skewers and deep fry.

Garnish with salad leaves and cucumber.

The potato seekh is ready to serve.
