Recipe for Makai Fried Chicken


  • Chicken breast 2
  • Corn flakes 2 cup
  • Flour 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Lemon 2
  • Egg 1
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for fry

Cooking Directions

Cut each chicken breast into book form, beat with steak hammer to flatten.

In a bowl beat 1 egg, add in 2 tbsp corn flour, juice of 2 lemon, 1 tbsp garlic paste, 1 tbsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp black pepper powder and salt to taste.

Mix well and make into batter of medium consistency, add 1 – 2 tbsp water if needed.

Marinate chicken with the prepared batter.

Sprinkle corn flake in a platter, coat marinated chicken with corn flakes and deep fry till golden brown.

Remove from oil, cut into strips and serve with chili garlic sauce.
