The 15-man Pakistani squad and 12-member coaching staff departed for India around 1:00 am last night. It seemed that supporters had forgotten about the national team’s embarrassing defeat at the recently-held Asia Cup, since they saw the team off with prayers and slogans. The team has left for India via an international flight which will arrive at Abu Dhabi and from there, will take them to New Delhi. The team will then leave for Kolkata. Like no likes.

Afridi says wants to begin World T20 campaign with a win
“All the matches in the World T20 are important for us,” he told a press conference.

We were mentally and physically prepared to arrive in India for the World T20, he added.

He said his team had begun full training for the mega tournament. He insisted that his team players need to perform better in every department.
