Aleem Dar first started umpiring in 2000 and so far has officiated 99 test matches, 178 one day and 35 Twenty20 matches. He also won ICC Umpire of the Year award three consecutive years from 2009 till 2011. Moreover, the Pakistani government rewarded the prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz award in 2013 for his contributions.
