Subject : ‘Coke Studio’ composes Cricket World Cup 2015 anthem

The first Pakistani music television series 'Coke Studio' has composed a two minutes and 40 seconds long world cup anthem titled "Phir se game utha dein", which has Atif Aslam, Pakistani pop/rock band Strings, Asrar and Jimmy Khan as the vocalists. The song is said to be a desi version of "Who rules the world" sung by Kasey Carlone and Matt Slogett, which was the theme song for the 1992 world cup hosted in Australia and its official music video features artists like Aamina Sheikh, Adnan Siddiqui, Adnan Malik and Pakistan's cricket icon Javed Miandad. The Pakistani team will play its first match against India on February 15, 2015 in this year's ICC Cricket World Cup hosted in Australia and New Zealand.
