Yet another Pakistani talent being called across the border, Kubra Khan (aka. Rabia Khan) who played the role of a bank manager in recently released Nabeel Qureshi’s blockbuster, ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ is yet another addition to a growing list. The Pakistani model turned actress Kubra Khan has recently made her first debut with the Oscar nominated Na Maloom Afraad. Kubra is now all set to make her Bollywood debut after her brilliant acting in super hit Lollywood Flick. She will be starring opposite Irfan Khan and Arshad Warsi. Both the male actors had worked together 6 years back and now they are excited once again for this upcoming comedy flick in which Karachi will be seen through the eyes of India. The gorgeous Kubra also shared that she was independently approached by the film’s director. "I am playing the lead girl of a strict, firm government woman in this project working alongside the amazing Arshad Warsi and Jackky Bhagnani,” She said.

The film ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’ will be releasing in 2015. The day and month has yet not disclosed. The film will explore how two adventurers find themselves in the port city amidst the current political instability. Previously, the filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani had plans of casting the Kick helmer Nargis Fakhri. However, things couldn’t work out with her for some reason and the director choose to cast a freshly introduced Lollywood actress “Kubra Khan”. It was then that Bhagnani started auditions for the female lead of the movie in London and came across Pakistani Kubra Khan who isn’t only gorgeous but according to the filmmaker also had command over Hindi, Urdu and English.
