“I am very fortunate that I got exposure of the Indian industry. I wish all actors experience exposure to other industries including Bollywood and Hollywood,” Khan is of the view that the Pakistani industry could utilise that experience and enhance itself from it. As an actor, he feels that interaction with an assortment of cultures is common and that is his favourite perk of belonging to showbiz. He maintains faith that the public will appreciate the evolving Pakistani cinema and better quality films will continue to emerge. He plans to do movies in Pakistan despite countless film offers from India. “There are offers from India but I have not made any concrete commitments yet.”

When inquired about his inspiration to perform, he alleged that there are numerous actors in Pakistan who are worthy of being idealised but Moin Akhtar is at the top of his list. “Moin Akhtar is my ultimate inspiration,” he said, adding that he would be ecstatic if he achieved even one per cent of what Akhtar has accomplished. The Pakistani heart-throb is also a prominent fan of Amitabh Bachchan and the angry-man image the Bollywood superstar is branded for.
Khan, with those killer looks is also a diligent artist; he expressed to us his passion for cinema: “Whenever I start a project, I build up high expectations of myself because I work really hard.” He is grateful for the success of Khoobsurat since his hard work debuting in Bollywood has finally yielded results.

Talking about his devotion to perform for his fans and amuse the Pakistani public, he remarked: “People in Pakistan are hungry for entertainment, let’s bring the entertainment back to the people. It is now our responsibility to give the people good quality entertainment.” On being questioned about his preferred film industry, he suavely commented, “It is very hard to compare Bollywood to our film industry because Pakistan produces seven to eight films a year whereas 1,800 were released in Bollywood last year.”
