For this Institute of Journalism is conducting 2-day Workshop on News Anchoring and Reporting.

Practical : (2nd day)

News Anchoring:

- Every individual will be given the chance to gain the practical exposure of News Anchoring.
- News Anchors , news producers and news directors will be the facilitators for the practical session.
- 7 minutes to each individual will be assigned to read the news using prompter.
- Assistance of the assigned facilitators can be taken when needed.
- Videos will be uploaded on social media networks for voting.

Reporting:

- Participants enrolled in reporting practical session will be assigned 6 minutes for reporting.
- Each reporter have to develop 2 current affairs/business affair news after the 1st day theory session. (3 minutes each report)
- Things reported should consists of the latest facts and figures.
- Outdoor shooting will also be allowed to the participant. (the participant have to inform the management team regarding outdoor shoot , so necessary arrangements can be made).
- Eminent reporters will be assisting the participants.
- Videos of reporting will be uploaded on the social media network.

Important:

- Voting will take place on each video uploaded on social media network
- Winners will be given Cash prizes
- Top 3 winner in each category can practice journalism at online web tv of Institute of Journalism.
- Rules regarding the competition will be provided at the day of the event.
