Workshop I – Speak Bright
**Limited Seats – 30 participants in each group only**
Workshop Category: Public Speaking & Confidence Building 101
Level: Beginner / Intermediate
Participation Criteria – Who should participate
• Age: 11 years to 15 years – comfortable in Spoken English Language
• Students who would like to be more confident when speaking or performing before groups
• Students who feel shy participating in conversations
• Students who have difficulty making presentations or speaking out in Class
• Students who find social events to be unnerving
About the workshop and its benefits
An early start is always an edge in mastering the skill of public speaking. Speak Bright is an exciting interactive workshop for young speakers to polish their skills; train and practice prepared and impromptu speaking. The workshop will include fun activities to boost their confidence, enhance creativity, get rid of the fear of public speaking, connect with people and of course make new friends.
Workshop II – Speech Craft

Workshop Category: Public Speaking & Confidence Building 2.0
Level: Beginner / Intermediate
Participation Criteria – Who should participate
• Age: 16 years to 24 years – Comfortable & Fluent in Spoken English Language
• Those who are interested in becoming more confident & effective public speakers
• Those who would like to learn and practice tips, tools and techniques of becoming more effective speakers
About the Workshop and its Benefits
Speech Craft is an interactive activity-based workshop for those who understand the power or effective communications skills and would like to train & practice to become more confident communicators. This workshop will enable them to:
• organize their thoughts & generate ideas for interesting presentations,
• practice a variety of delivery techniques,
• learn tips for confidence building & calming those pre-speech nerves,
• use their body language & voice modulation to their advantage
• Practice Practice PRACTICE in a friendly & trusted environment
Workshop III – Talk Force
**Limited Seats – 30 participants in each group only**
Workshop Category: Public Speaking & Confidence Building 101
Level: Intermediate / Advance
Participation Criteria – Who should participate
• Age: 16 years to 24 years – Comfortable & Fluent in Spoken English Language
• Seasoned Debaters, Public Speakers and MUNers who are interested in pushing their game to the next level!
• Those interested in participating in declamations, debating championships and MUNs at the national and international level
• Participants must have the participation experience of at least 3 to 4 inter-school / college level speaking events / competitions. They will be asked to present certificates of participation of the same at the time of registration.
About the Workshop and its benefits:
Talk Force is the First of its kind, advance public speaking and debating camp in Karachi, Pakistan. It is meant to be a resource group to help seasoned participants champion the best debating techniques and case / presentation construction strategies. The participants will train with globally acclaimed tools to master the five streams of advanced public speaking; Parliamentary Debating, Impromptu Speaking, Interpretive Reading, Persuasive Speaking, After Dinner Speeches (Humorous speeches). The participants will also form a network and will be posted about international events / championship calendars and national media participation opportunities.
About the Trainer – Sidra Iqbal
Sidra Iqbal is an internationally acclaimed celebrity motivational speaker and Youth Icon of Pakistan. During her School days, Sidra became the first young Pakistani to win the prestigious English Speaking Union’s International Public Speaking Championship 1999 in London UK, among 48 participants from 26 countries. For this accomplishment she was invited to the Buckingham Palace to receive her Winner’s certificate from HRH The Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip. In July 2011, she became the first Pakistani to be invited as Judge to same coveted forum in London, with co-judges like Lucy Hockings, Presenter BBC News. Sidra went on to represent the Pakistani Youth at number of power packed forums in Australia, Cyprus, Japan, India, Turkey, Singapore, USA, UK and UAE.
Today Sidra is one of the foremost Media personalities of Pakistan as she produces and anchors her signature TV shows. She is also a prominent marketing professional working with leading corporate organizations and brands as a brand communication strategist and PR Practitioner. She founded her new-age PR & Media Consultancy; Statuspro 360 in 2010. Prior to that she served as the Vice President - Public Relations at Ogilvy & Mather Pakistan and has also served her assignments at their Singapore & Hong Kong offices. This summer Sidra is all set to bring her phenomenal global experience and insightful learning to her signature BLINCK Summer Workshops!
