NAPA Performing Arts Festival 2012
The National Academy of the Performing Arts, set up in 2005, has been imparting quality education in Music and Theatre for the last seven years. Finally it is time we think the alumni is ready to express themselves to the fullest of their abilities, unhindered by faculty oversight. The NAPA Performing Arts Festival is therefore an expression of the new generation of music and theatre practitioners celebrating the world as they see it.
The Festival will be 11 days long containing 4 music concerts and 6 Theatre performances running for 2 days each starting from 1st March while most of the performances are original pieces conceived especially for the Festival. Be it music or theatre, the Festival features a large body of original work that will be an enriching experience not only for the artists but also the audience.

1st March : Hoon Muntazir Mein (Directed by Zain Ahmed)
2nd/3rd March : Art (Directed by Samina Nazir and Written by Yasmina Reza)
3rd March : Modern Fusion Concert # 1 featuring Asif Sinan and many other alumni bands
4/5th March : Kafka (Directed by Uzma Sabeen and Written by Farhan Jamalvi)
4th March : The Afternoon Raags # 1 featuring Rameez Khalid and many other alumni musicians
6/7th March : Koel (Directed by Kulsoom Aftab and Written by Dr. Enver Sajjad)
8/9th March : Khawab Tha Shaid (Written and Directed by Fawad Khan)
9th March : Modern Fusion Concert # 2 featuring the FEW band and many other alumni bands
10/11th March : Equus (Directed by Sunil Shankar and Written by Peter Shaffer)
11th March : The Afternoon Raags # 2 featuring Ahsan Bari and many other alumni musicians
Venue : NAPA on M.R Kiyani Road opp. Arts Council
Entry : Rs. 300/person per show (Rs. 150/student per show)
