Pakistani star all-rounder Boom Boom Afridi said that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is now included in Indian team squad and inclusion of Dhoni will give Pakistan a hard time, as he was not playing last match due to his severe injury. The 34-year-old hurt his groin during the recent one-day tournament, which concluded last week and was also held in Bangladesh.
Green Shirts departed from Lahore international airport last day, as Shahid Afridi will fly to Bangladesh on 17th March. Boom Boom will miss first warm up match against New Zealand on Monday. “The Asia Cup win over India will benefit us,” said Afridi, but cautioned: “We have to be at our best to beat India who will now be accompany with Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
