The news of re-union of Karavan band which was in the air for quite some time now has finally materialized as the band recently performed together at a concert in Karachi after a gap of almost 2 years.

The band rose to fame with their single ‘Aagey Hi Aagey’ but their last notable performance was on Coke Studio season 3. Since then, all the band members were busy pursuing their solo career and it put an end to the band which lasted in the industry for about at least a decade.

But now it’s a good news for all the Karavan lovers that the band has once again come together and performed live.

Few days back they released some pictures of all the band members rehearsing in the studios for their live show. And then they performed at a gig too couple of days ago. They have even made a new Facebook page named as KaravanLive.

But it seems that the band member have come together once again only for the live performances and they won’t be releasing new singles under the brand name of Karavan.

Earlier this summer, there were rumours that there might be a re-union for Karavan but the guitarist of the band Asad Ahmed denied any such development relating to the band’s comeback. But now they have finally struck together and even performed a concert together.

However it remains to be seen that what their future plans are, as a band or if they only restrict themselves to performing live concert together.

Whatever the story might be, and no matter how long they are here to stay back for their second stint, we welcome back Karavan.
