Sindh Government Announces Public Holiday on 27th December

After enjoying the long weekend of 25th December that celebrated Quaid’s Day and Christmas, Sindh residents are now all set to get one more day off this already shortened week! The government of Sindh has declared the 27th of December 2017 as a public holiday in the province as per directives of the Chief Minister Sindh. The holiday has been announced on account of the occasion of the Shahadat of the late Benazir Bhutto Shaheed. The notice issued states that as per past practices all government offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous, corporations and local councils headed under the administrative control of the Sindh government will remain closed on Wednesday.
